Save the official schedule

Start with the schedule published by the artist. Keep content release dates separate from the album release, and check the time zone. Rollouts differ, so use the announcements for this particular release as your reference.

Collect questions, not conclusions

Look for recurring colors and objects in concept photos, or connections between song titles. Ask what a scene might sound like instead of trying to solve everything in advance. Keep personal interpretations separate from confirmed information.

Let previews be first impressions

If a highlight medley or teaser is released, make a note of the moment that catches your attention. A short edit does not have to capture the whole song. After release day, return to your notes and see what changed.

Try one listen in sequence

You can begin with the song that interests you most, but try listening to the album in its listed order at least once. Notice the shifts between tracks and the relationship between the opening and ending.
